What is a video client handoff packet?
It is a record of the third-party assets used in a video project, together with their source details, license evidence and delivery notes. Handoff Studio packages that information into a readable index and selected original proof documents so your client can refer back to it after delivery.
What can I do for free?
You can sign in with Google, create projects, add asset records, attach proof documents and preview the client summary without paying or entering a card. You can also download the complete fictional example without an account. The one-time export license unlocks ZIP downloads of your own projects.
Does my client need an account?
No. You download the packet and send it using your usual delivery method. Your client extracts the ZIP and opens the included index.html in a browser. The downloaded packet stays usable independently of Handoff Studio.
Does this verify or transfer an asset license?
No. Handoff Studio organizes the information and evidence you provide. Completeness checks flag missing fields and selected documents; they do not verify legal rights or document authenticity. You remain responsible for checking the supplier terms and whether an asset can be used or shared as intended.
Are the original video, music and font files included?
The packet includes asset records, delivery notes and the proof documents you select. Your original video, stock clips, music files, font installers and editing project files are delivered separately through your existing file-sharing workflow.
What stays private?
Internal project and asset notes are excluded from client exports. Uploaded proof documents are private by default, and only the files you select are included in a downloaded packet. Review the contents of selected documents before sharing, since receipts may contain personal or billing information.
What does the one-time price cover?
The $39 USD personal export license unlocks client packet exports for the Google account used at checkout while the service operates. There is no recurring subscription. You can store up to 30 projects, with 50 asset records and 50 proof documents per project. Each document can be up to 2 MB, with 8 MB of documents per project. The final total is shown at checkout.
